Keane to start

Recommended Posts

The signings of Baker and Keane were never going to be the answer, anyone could see that. They do bring us options from the bench, or at least, that's the way they should be used. It's clear what we needed, someone to control the midfield, a winger and an experienced striker. Plenty of players who fit the bill have moved on loan to championship clubs, Gray just needs to start looking in the right place

Correct as usual.

You can't judge players after playing on that pitch tonight. It was a shocker, and only Semedo came out of it with any credit.

As for Baker and Keane, I wonder if one of the reasons we managed to sign them is because Gray promised their parent clubs they would get games. Bit of a concern that, because regardless of form, there may well be a stipulation in the deal that means they have to play a certain percentage of games.
