Reasons To Be Happy

Recommended Posts

Just to stop a masses of Wednesday fans jumping off the face of the earth, let's all cheer up & list things, Wednesday related, that we should be happy about

1. We're 15th with a game in hand on teams around us, and we've not got a negative goal difference.

CHEER UP YOU MISERABLE SODS!

We reached a stage of positivity where a number of us genuinely believed that the semi-finals were reachable.

Okay, we didn't make it.

But that positivity was non-existent under Jones' management.

In a few months we've gone from relegation certs, to clawing points back, to being comfortable with a decent cup run under our belts.

The emergence this season of Liam Palmer, and the blooding through of Caolan Lavery.

Two players who seemingly have a bright future at this club.

Liam looks to be solid in three positions, whilst Lavery has scored two and looked bright in most games he's appeared in.

Both also have the potential to be internationals for their respective countries.

4. We (I hope) don't live in a city or country ravaged by war.

Please note: This is not to make light of those in such a plight but an attempt to bring some perspective to the debate. Also no reflection on men and women who might be in said countries working for armed forces. Nothing but total respect for them.
