Blueblood
I'd like to think Madine would Thrive with Maguire on the wing. He seems to be able to get quality balls into the box
lowershiregreenowl
As long as he stays on his feet instead of his flipping arse then he deserves a chance i suppose. Show us that you still have it in you gary to be a match winner otherwise flip off.
Lincowl
Madine's time has arrived? Gateshead have offered him a contract?
airborne_rat_of_s6
If he does get his chance now then he might as well get shifted on. Lets face it, if he doesn't start in a side with few forward options in the current circumstances he might as well go. Hopefully he'll grasp whatever comes his way and resurrects his career with us. scowl
Gary Madine has had a terrible season. Not even his biggest critics could have envisaged the season he has had. Everything has just gone agaisnt him. However, this is his chance now, his chance to show he is still our best striker and he has what is needed at this level. Gary Madine should start Vs Barnsley? Dream on.
Glaser
Thing is Leamington Owl .... I just can't understand why we don't have a song for Madine .... I mean, even people like Buxton get their own song .....
SWFC_Liam
If he plays like he did on Saturday then I'd be pleased to see him in the starting 11 against Barnsley. Think hes gone a bit stale here though, and neesa a loan move to a League One club next season until January. Hopefully he'll score a few goals and come back hungru. Provided we survive of course. Guest Big Guns
He's too slow to start against the dingles
Guest wilyfox
would rather start with JJ than Madine - he'd be waiting around for service that simply isn't there; atleast JJ is capable of conjuring something for himself by running at defenders. WBridgfordowl
One of the more bizarre happenings this season is that COG is on loan at a relegation rival and Gary Madine is getting game time for us. Truly bizarre decision. Why bizarre? What if we needed to release wages off the cost base to enable a new striker to be brought in and the only player anyone would take was COG. What if no one wanted Madine? Edited March 20, 2013 by WBridgfordowl
Dwarfersmeg
Starting XI v Barnsley: (Definitely open to debate, just a niggling thought!!) Kirkland Llera Taylor Gardner Buxton Lee Prutton Pugh Helan Maguire Lita Subs: Bywater Reda Semedo McCabe JJ Pecnik (only other attacking midfielder we have available!) Madine .....prepares for the flack!
