Ever the pessimist
Was thinking of beating the crowds and going for the less obvious West Bridgford, just past the City Ground. Anyone know whether they would be away friendly? Am I imagining that there is a poster called West Bridgford Owl? By away friendly I simply mean not hostile. Not much of a singer etc myself in pubs so will be all well mannered on our part
Scoz
Couldnt get served in hooters at County last year was waiting for ages. I went to a weatherspoons in centre only thing that un-workable me of was that it was paddy's day and had all the thick micks out celebrating it. Rick - Norfolk Owl
Trent Navigation on the canal has been recommended to me by a Forest mate. Says it is away fan friendly, good beer and close to ground. Meeting him there before the game, so he will be good to his word

We've actually booked a table for lunch at Larwood and Voce which also has a bar area. If you fancied lunch and a few drinks there's Pizza Express, Felicini and Escabeche that I would recommend as a casual places to go first. For a good place to drink with Real Ales I would suggest Stratford Haven.

Sam779
The car parks in West Bridgford only have 2hr parking limits though so you'll need to find street parking. There's plenty to be had the opposite side of Bridgford to the ground.
