Onedog23 Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 I know he has really struggled in recent weeks but I thought he would have been a useful option today. Madine came on and barely touched the ball and spent most of the time on his own chasing shadows although to be fair he didn't really get much service. The game was pretty slow throughout and it would have been ideal for him to come on alongside one of the strikers and play at a pace he is used too. I can't understand why we play 1 upfront when we are playing at home. Bothroyd had a brilliant first half but he isn't a wide player he needs to be in and around the box.
