Kirkland was too far off his line, jumped in the air when the kick was taken, saw it all the way, it was his side of the goal, went at least a yard inside the post. He placed the wall. The only issue with the wall was that the player (I think Semedo) has to come over and try and cover for the Wolves players moving from the gap. He turned his back on it. Only fault of the wall as far as I can see and he wasn't even in it. Kirkland hasn't been responsible for many goals going in to be fair but having 2 keepers of equal ability means that you can change them without worrying about inexperience etc. Having seen him this season he doesn't talk to the defence much. Pick any other 7 and thats what it will be. JJ who in my opinion was MOM yesterday (and this isn't a dig at JJ) says somthing about the rest of the defence!!
