I keep clicking onto this thread and looking at my old Hillsborough and am really yearning for the old South Stand. It's obvious the posters who are dissing it and saying the new one is better are under 30 years of age. Or maybe i'm just a sentimental bastaard! matt68owls Posted September 9, 2012 Share Posted September 9, 2012 that photo is just as i remember hillsborough when i started going in the mid seventies. looking back at some of the crowd figures of around 6-12,000 is not what i remember, it never felt that empty even thought it held over 50,000 at the time.
