Played Walsall in last match before Milan bought in Team was Starting Line-ups 1 Weaver 15 Beevers 11 Jones 4 Purse 2 Spurr 14 Potter 8 Miller 21 Teale 24 Sedgwick 30 Morrison 33 Mellor Substitutes 9 Heffernan 25 Jameson 5 Hinds 17 O'Connor 7 Tudgay 23 Johnson 29 Palm So how do we reckon the current squad would do against the lot that beat Walsall 3-0? Only area I think we are possibly weaker is midfield but that is in comparison to the midfield against Wycombe when we had Traecey. Our current team would win league 1 by a country mile. Defence is weaker as Batth is gone. Kirkland and Gardner will not play 20 games between them. Maguire was not good enough for a poor Derby side. Well firstly Maguire played about 5 times for Derby before falling out with Clough. Ask the Pompey what they think of him. Doubt they will tell you he's not good enough. As for saying Madine isn't good enough, what are you basing that on? The lads been injured most of pre season and is yet to start a game against a championship side.
