KivoOwl
This will be the first ever game for the U21s - the Development Squad if you prefer - under the new youth set-up introduced by the Premier League. Kick-off is at 11.30am, and hopefully a few fans will make the journey to Middlewood Road that wouldn't normally be prepared to watch youth football. Teams are allowed 3 overage outfield players and 1 overage keeper - so the team could include the liked of Arron Jameson, Cecil Nyoni, Julian Bennett, Bastien Hery, Harry Grant, Diogo Amado, Daniel Jones, Caolan Lavery, Matt Fletcher and Jarrod Kyle. nevthelodgemoorowl
This is all well and good provided the publicity is pumped to the fans, results, league tables etc, etc. As it used to be with the old Central and Northern intermediate leagues. Had Kivo not posted no one would have been any the wiser.

Guest lamort
I couldn't make Derby so might drive the 15 minutes or so to watch this - do you think they'll allow a camera in?

No. There are young kids playing on nearby pitches so the training ground is a no-camera area. (I think)
