Guest foreverSWFC
Giles Coke.. Got to admit Eccy, Coke played well tonight, not stunning, but put a shift in. COG on the otherhand, people may begin to understand why i think COG is worth keeping. Those of you who wanted Harewood over him need to take a look at themselves. The guy can be unplayable. SiJ
COG was brilliant. Coke didn't catch the eye, but we did look more solid when he came on. The transformation of Pecnic in the second half was striking.

SquirrelSlingshot
COG was great. Was given a chance to prove himself and took it. Pecnik looked far more comfrtable in an advanced role in the second, and kept on dropping deep to give us an extra man in midfield. Those two have to start as our front two on Saturday for me. Coke was solid if unspectacular, and helped shore up the midfield a bit.
theowlsman
Coke and COG sounds like a short and mixer.
Sami
every poster on owlstalk acts like they know the world. As seen with the Bennet thread, you cant judge players every one has different attributes and being a manager is all about playing to players strong points. McRightSide
Coke did ok, but not enough to warrant a start for me. However, I can't really see an alternative at the moment. So it might be that he gets the nod. COG deserves his chance against Derby, and I'm sure he'll get it. I thought DJ got his selection hopelessly wrong tonight and it nearly cost us. Pecnik in CM was a gamble that didn't pay off, but he did a decent job upfront. Madine was clearly not ready. Glad Buxton got 90 minutes under his belt, Pecnik looked summat like it up front. Antonio was back into the swing of things towards the end too. COG was phenomenal. Would start with the same front two. Also thought we missed Lines.
