wharncliffeowl
Quote from Alan Irvine from the club OS regarding Palace: http://www.swfc.co.uk/page/Gaffers/0,,10304~2037634,00.html Irvine added: "They're good enough to be in this division and they've shown that with the number of wins they've had this season. They nearly won the game against West Brom and they will come to Hillsborough knowing that they have a chance of winning the game and getting the result they need to stay in the league." Please tell him it's us that needs to win, a draw is good enough for them. I don't feel very well. Edited April 28, 2010 by wharncliffeowl
Beholder
Safety first with the usual set of 'stalwarts' will send us down. End of. ATTACK!!
richowl
I've a horrible feeling the wrong tatics will be chosen on sunday. 'keep it tight' ' don't go one down' etc. We need to get at them early doors. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK! I'm sure palace will be in two minds in how to play the game. a) 11 men behind the ball & sit back. Get the draw thats needed. b)attack & put the game to bed.

We have to play positively and get them on the back foot. Edited April 28, 2010 by Beholder
lʍO‾ǝsnoɥpooM
To be honest id start slow and steady settle the nerves for first 20mins then go for the throat. get the goal, that will open them up as the game will be on them, sit the ball in midfield and probe for openings, dont rush up again and again, slow and steady :)

Unfortunately we don't have the players with the required skill to hold the ball in midfield. Get the ball out wide (hopefully were JJ & Varney will be playing) run at em' and get balls in the box. Guest keyser soze
Get the ball out wide (hopefully were JJ & Varney will be playing) run at em' and get balls in the box. I know he's the worlds most inconsistent player - but Essajajsasass is the one player (JJ looks broken to me) who can really make things happen. He can do nowt for 89 minutes and then out of nothing conjure the impossible. He's got to be worth at least 45 minutes????
Ronnie Starling
Our better performances have come when we have started games well and got the early goal and that should be way for Sunday. Keep Palace on the back foot and don't give them any time.
Guest teeba
Maybe he counts on Palace reading those words while back in the changing rooms he's telling the players to go all-out attack...

Silkstone Owl
i think the main tactic we need in sundays game is go in hard and strong, win every second ball and hamper Palace at every opportunity scare them into making mistake, if Palace havent done anything by half time we have a massive opportunity
