Max
Way to go... ...if your aim was to trivialise the concerns of Wednesdayites who visit the site. Moi? There's posts of concerns, and then there's self-promoting, agenda-ridden, "look at me! give me attention!" poo -filled clusterrumbles of posts. We're all capable of, and have made, both. Recently, many have reached the hysterical end of the latter part of the spectrum.

Guest Anglofile
"Preparing 'hero' shirts for Saturday" - Today's Daily Photo: http://bit.ly/bjO6Oe Might have been a nice touch if they did it in camo and then auctioned them off at end of match!! Guest Anglofile
Camo? our rumbleing players are anonymous enough as it is... Nah, just another tip of the hat to the guys that really put it on the line! A couple of big universities did it this past fall for their American football uniforms (mfd by Under Armour). Auctioned them off for a shitload of money that went to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. It was a great publicity coup that went for a great cause. I live near Ft, Bragg, Special Ops HQ - Delta Force, Greenie Beenies and 82njd Airborne. People here are huge on raising funds in any way for our guys and their families. It's a wonderful gesture what the club is doing! Joe

Guest Deleted member
Can i ask why this HASN'T yet been made public knowledge? When we're down we need snippets of positive PR and this falls into that category All in good time... Ahhhh you're gonna do the old announcement when its far too late and not in enough media outlets trick. Worked well so far.... Or we're tying it into a bigger plan, perhaps? What is funny, by the way, is that the people moaning about not knowing about it all know about it... People are not supposed to know about it yet as the press has been embargoed for various reasons. There was a sneak-peek yesterday and there will be a little bit more about it later, with full press after. And yes, Grandad, I will be mardy all week - funnily enough I/we are all a little cheesed off with the result/performance from Saturday too. Plus it doesn't help when people who don't know the full facts continuously moan by proxy on behalf of others, who they probably don't even know who they are, when a lot of hard work is happening in the background. So is the 'bigger plan' going to be announced today??

Guest Deleted member
Yes that was me as well. I also told you that Lee spends 90% of his time stood looking over James shoulder saying 'put that', 'put this', and 'That fecker Grandad wants to watch what he's doing or we'll have Irwin Mitchells <insert random solicitor> out again'
Sam779
Grandad, was it you that said "James is just a puppet"? Not sure it was you that mentioned the word "Jobsworth".
Guest Deleted member
No I never called him a puppet. I did say he has his head so far up Lees bottom that Lee has to brush two sets of teeth in a morning. It was pointed out to me at the time that theres a certain sense of irony in that statement...
