Would be good to get him and a couple of others out on loan to give them some proper match time and experience.

It's refreshing to see just how many promising players we have in the u23s and u18s these days

Agreed mate. It's the way forward when properly set up and running well. Luckily, we're now in a position where we can look long term and not just towards the here and now.

If you can get it right, you potentially save millions of pounds in transfer fees with parents of all the brightest young prospects sending their kids to your academy.

Aye, and the fact that over all age groups from u23s to the u8s learn to play the same was as the first team means they will be able to make the step up through the age levels with barely any issues. For the first time in forever we actually are being run properly from the ground up, and I for one, love it lol

Playing against blokes instead of other kids can only help them move up a level. Get it done!

Gives you a better understanding of their level of readiness for the first team.

Desereuvre got battered when he went on loan to Hyde. Think that helped with the decision making process when he was moved on. Some can handle it, some can't, the physical aspect that is.

Stobbs can work his way into first team reckoning for next season I reckon with the right loan move. Just hope the club he goes to is chosen wisely thats all.

Bolton would be a fair choice, Ameobis gone back to newcastle, good club who look after the young players

With a chance if oromotion you mean? Being part of something good?

That sounds ideal and will boost his profile.

Plus, he has an extra incentive to knock the blunts out of the top 2

Its win, win, win for everyone, him, us, bolton lol

True. There's nothing makes or breaks a young lad more than having a gnarled rock hard 14 stone centre half stuck up their arris and coming through the back of them..

Had rave reviews playing fir the U23s. Scored the third today.

Looking like a very bright prospect alongside Hirsty.

Something else to celebrate is the crop of good young players coming through the ranks

Agreed. Its been a long time since we brought through some quality players.
