  1. This is an awful take, although I do agree to an extent. Yes we should be scoring more but when the opposition know there's a high probability they will score with any shot on target, Dawson gets us relegated. He's just not good enough and there's literally no defence for it anymore. If I was jack Hall or Pierce Charles I'd be sat there questioning my career choices if this guy is playing Infront of me.
  2. Let's be honest about him. He's not good enough, it's like starting a goal down with him playing. Yes he saved a penalty and Exeter got promoted with him playing but he's not good enough for us. This is the first test of Röhl's management career, there's no way he's good enough. What must Vasquez be doing in training to play second fiddle to this clown? He needs dropping and a replacement signing asap, then send him back to Exeter.
  3. Is Dawson the worst keeper in our history? Discuss...
  4. I haven't heard of any to be fair but interestingly I had numerous posts deleted on here around 6 years ago for criticising Chansiri. I guess the narrative has changed now.
  5. Unfortunately that's the risk everyone involved in these protests has taken. Someone else has pointed out that these guy are no longer anonymous and their names are public, which is fair enough. I wasn't aware. The reason I'd expect them not to be anonymous is pretty simple really. They were wanting other members of the fan base to take part in things like throwing tennis balls on the pitch, released balloons, organised marches etc etc. They are the ringleaders behind this so in my opinion they should also take responsibility and if people are to get banned for taking part in such action then those responsible should be prepared to take the fall too. I agree fully with what they are trying to achieve by the way.
  6. Carlos Sturrock Laws/Gray Carlos is one of the greatest managers in our history, the way he was hounded out was pretty disgraceful. Those 2 playoff seasons will be remembered for decades. He built the best team since the 91 cup winners. Sturrock in there as he got us promoted on that day in Cardiff. Laws worked wonders on an absolute shoe string. As for Stuart Gray, I'd have liked to see him given an opportunity with Chansiris cash.
  7. Id doubt he will react but surely these things would be better organised for when he's actually at Hillsborough.
  8. Blimey. Comparing Dawson to a former England international.
  9. The difference between the 2 sides is Chair is one of the best players in the league.
  10. I think today is an important game for him and also it's possibly a test for Röhl's man management too. Does he drop Dawson after yet another mistake midweek and play Vasquez? Or is now the time to put an arm round him and say "I believe in you" etc? It's a big call changing keepers, remember when the tactically inept Moore did it in the second half of last season, dropped Dawson and brought back Stockdale. It turned out to be a complete disaster.
  11. I wonder what Dawson and the keeper coach thought about the 3rd goal then? If they think the keeper wasn't to blame there then unfortunately neither are fit for purpose.
  12. That's a ridiculous way of looking at it. The costly errors outweigh "the greatest penalty save in our history"
