  1. Surprised with dropping Ihiekwe & Vaulks. Both been imperative in the last couple of games, massively contributing to two clean sheets. I thought tonight would be tough with them, think it just got tougher.
  2. Think everyone was a little unsure what type of player he was when he signed. Hadn’t set the world alright for Cardiff having played out wide regularly. But coming here he seems a real natural finisher. Can maybe be quiet in games but he seems to need 1 chance to score a goal and you can’t knock him for that. Might as well enjoy him whilst he’s here, will earn himself a very good move this summer.
  3. Last night felt like a real pivotal moment for those against the reign of Chansiri. I don’t think anyone expected that many cards to be held up! The ice has been broken, before I think there was nerves and almost a sense of thinking am I in the minority? Yesterday was the clearest message in 9 years that we aren’t happy and we aren’t going to move forward under his inept leadership. Chansiri is all about power, control, respect and vanity! That will have hurt him last night! Although I suspect we may get another statement soon enough. Keep up the work!
  4. Big fan of Röhl and his style in particular when playing at Hillsborough so I don’t want this to seem like an anti Röhl post because I genuinely believe he’ll be a success in L1. However I can’t help but feel, especially away from home we need a more ‘hard to beat’ type approach right now. I’m unsure this squad has the ability to play to the level he demands.
  5. Highly disappointing window unless something crazy happens by 11. Poveda I was quite happy with on a permanent, a player with potential who could benefit from first team football and potentially be an asset when we likely drop back into L1. However on a loan I’m underwhelmed. Pedersen is a steady LB nothing spectacular! Don’t think he takes the LB spot off Johnson. So again another loan that doesn’t really improve the 11.
  6. Off to Blackburn for his medical. What a farce this McGuire saga has been.
  7. Surprised me we’ve even got that kind of money to offer. Think you have to go back to Luongo signing back in 2019 for any sort of fee around the £1m mark. I’d be cautious of how we spend, I think there’s a huge likelihood we drop back into L1 and a summer budget of around £2m-£3m could be a game changer spread across 5/6 players at £500,000 each. Similar approach to how Ipswich signed players like Burns, Chaplin & Davis. We’re in a tough market right now, we’re after Championship quality but so is everyone else in the division and being part of a team that’s lost 18 times (more than anyone else in the division) won’t appeal as highly to attacking players. The summer recruitment has set us back massively.
  8. It’s certainly not 50/50. I’d argue it’s more likely we drop down than stay up but it’s just opinions. The product hasn’t gone up in value by £85.
  9. North has gone up from 485 to 570. How’s that work?
  10. Exactly. I thought £1m sounded excessive for a 33 year old who wouldn’t start over Davis.
  11. The Ipswich end are reporting that he’s a player McKenna likes but they’ve not bid £1m and would only be willing to pay a nominal fee.
  12. Love Johnson, but £1m could be invested elsewhere. I highly doubt Chansiri will sell, not his style.
  13. Looks like Ugbo played with Musaba in Belgium and had a very good spell.
