Had some bad news last night

But then I saw her face

Got the fright of my life last night.

 

Sitting watching telly when the most dreadful knock came on the front door. I knew it was the Mother-in-Law right away because the mice were throwing themselves on the traps!

I was sat with the wife yesterday and she started groaning,

i looked and she was slumped forward with a lobsided look to her face,

i knew she was having some kind of stroke, 

thinking fast and remembering the advert, 

F - her face was drooping 

A - I raised her arms and sure enough, the left one fell

S - she was definitely slurring her speech 

T - this is where I struggled to remember the last bit, so guessing I made her some tea and toast.

it isn’t tea and toast!!!
