Bottom line is a club the size and scale of Wednesday needs a tough chairman with deep pockets and has done it somewhere before.

..sadly not two a penny.

Its not the starting place for people with no experience and we are now seeing the results of that.

We are in a terrible state at boardroom level and it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

I just  hope someone can come in before we go some sort of point of no return (if there is one!)

Don't disagree. Think you're overstating the 'state' we're in to be honest. a hell of a lot of its hysteria on here, but ignoring that, your point about a tough Chairman with deep pockets is absolutely correct, if indeed a vacancy arose any time soon.

The problem we have is, Wednesday fans ( the social media variety especially) don't want a "tough chairman", they hate the fact he would be a rich business type. (They are indoctrinated to naturally hate this species). Look at all the snide comments about DCs source of income. Other clubs wouldn't give a monkey's where the cash comes from, but not us, "Daddy's money", "Bought him a train set" etc etc.

The deep pockets argument is pretty much a moot point. DC threw money at it and has got a total & undiluted slagging for it. It's not a "well at least he gave it a go for a change", oh no, it's all insults in hindsight.

Not getting into HOW the money was spent (that's a different argument), but he has spent up the allowed limit, so how another Chairman with deep or deeper pockets could spend more is a mystery.

I also wonder how many would be replacements would look at the current situation where all & sundry are telling him how it should be done & planning all kinds of direct action because it isn't done to their satisfaction.

Errr tell you what Dmitri let's stay the f**k down South.

But we are not a big club, we have a big ground and thats it. On the pitch we have won the same as Wimbledon and Wigan, we need a reality check before anything else.

Structurally, fan base and expectations wise yes we are.

We haven’t had a board or chairman who has been able to manage it.
