Because new managers usually think the previous manager was thinking along the right lines and the good work just needs to be continued, right? Maybe that happened with Ranieri following Pearson at Leicester but the circumstances were a bit unusual. Sorry, but if you like what your manager is doing you keep him. If you change manager it's because you think you need new thinking, and that brings change, disruption, loss of continuity.
