Pudil deal seems to be over 2 million.  A lot of money but he was great last season.

In the January transfer window Newcastle spent about £12 million on Shelvey and the same on Townshend, I believe they were the biggest spenders in that window, and still went down. They spent over £75 million on players last season . Like Derby they go for gifted individuals but that doesn't always guarantee success as a team, as England can testify.

Signed Shelvey and then played him essentially at DM! That's one of the big reasons they went down.
