The Batman
Is that to say the defence thus far has given you no reason for concern? We've got some new faces at the back, we've changed the way we defend as a team at the expense of all else, we've had injuries including to Westwood who's the key man in our back 5. When judging performances do you take circumstances into account?

When judging performances do you take circumstances into account? Yes, of course I take circumstances into consideration but that was a question in reply to a posting. Just out of interest, I have just been reading an article by Brian Laws or makes the same observations - the defence which has been the mainstay and strength of the team for the past season has started to leak goals. It might change in due course but it is a fair observation at present.
Guest
Unfortunately CC will never be accepted by a section of fans on here no matter what he does You can actually guarantee that if CC did get us promoted there would be a thread on here saying he should be sacked as he hasn't got the experience or knowhow to keep us in the Premier Some of our fans actually thought Big Sam and Klopp were viable options probably the same fans who think we would have rivalled any bid for Wickham from palace

If he takes us up he'll be a hero - end of story.

That team basically doesn't exist anymore. So to compare as if it's the same group, set up in the same way but just not playing as well is wrong. The changes have been so dramatic it's like comparing us to a different team.

I think for some on here it is beyond doubt they didn't know him or wanted him and they though we could attract bigger than what we are It goes back to what I always say this massive tag that started as a joke as actually deluded some fans And I agree if he takes us up he will be a hero to most but there will still be some who will want a change and how many will hold their hands up and admit they were wrong about him Obviously this is all hypothetical

Ergo we've gone backwards in the area that we, as a team, was strongest and stayed more or less the same in the area in which we were at the weakest. Fair enough, early days as many point out but all of this could also be construed as fair criticism depending on your point of view.

And Leeds - offensively - wasn't much better.
Rogerwyldesmullet
A leopard can't change his spots CC's CV implies he is a one season wonder max Chansiri's dismissal of Gray implies he wants better than 12th or at least some fun at Hillsborough If neither of the latter are forthcoming CC will go out to the tune of "Stop the Carvahalry" around Crimbo. This decision will not be based on Owlstalk posters whether good/bad, optimistic/pessimistic young/old Swinton/Conisbrough Cult or Buzz n Leroy. As Mr Charlton points out - we are lots better off than before. But regarding CC We are but observers of a drama unfolding. We've had a hard start and done ok. We need to chill, Season starts Saturday. Edited September 10, 2015 by parkerowl

Buzz
Let's give the man chance to develop his team, if we are anywhere near a Christmas then DC might back him for a major push! If not he builds the team and carries on........,
