No approach for Marshall

Where has Gray said no approach made for Marshall?

Interview today. His exact quote;

"We haven't been in contact with Blackburn about Marshall... But he's a player I admire greatly"

I really do seem to remember him saying the same before another signing he made for us. Might be imagining it.

Basically, I'd be taking that claim with a pinch of salt.

He's signing. Just a matter of when not if.

Was that in the audioboo interview? I don't remember him saying anything about Marshall, maybe I should pay more attention lol

If he's said that then it looks nailed on Ben will be a Wednesday player sooner than later. He's basically saying 'we haven't been in contact YET with Blackburn'.

Like you say, it's when not if. lol

But yeah, I agree. The 'we haven't been in contact' is questionable.

Reckon he'll be a SWFC by Derby game. Same with May.
