Worst than last season?

In December I genuinely thought we were down. I couldn't see where the next goal was coming from, let alone a win. 

 

When thinking about this seasons progression, I don't even think the start we had should be counted because that is NOT the same side we are now. We've been transformed. Our start to the season & ridiculous luck with injuries has cost us a top half finish, no doubt about it. 

 

This season, or at least the second half, has been a MASSIVE step forward. You'd be foolish to think otherwise.

 

I mean, last season we played 'Boro on the final day. We had Steve Howard up front, Olofinjana & Prutton in midfield, Danny flipping Pugh at left back & JJ was our 'biggest threat'.

Now look at us. As a side we are 10x better. 

Well for 10 minutes against Charlton on Monday we looked good enough to take on most of the clubs in the Premiership and give them a spanking. Shame about the next 80.

Sorry, gotta be irvine or yorath.

The turnaround under gray is nothing short of miraculous.

 I said Pound for Pound.

Demo came with a much bigger reputation and CV.

Even he said he was a good manager.

 

Totally different situations.

Expected Irvine and Yorath to be at best mediocre.

Irvine had a better record in the Championship though and I only fell to sleep three times under him. Managed four with Demo.

More treading water than anything, MM says next season we will go for it lets wait and see. (season tickets not selling well ? )

Season ticket sales are up on last season last I heard.
