dmw
In December I genuinely thought we were down. I couldn't see where the next goal was coming from, let alone a win. When thinking about this seasons progression, I don't even think the start we had should be counted because that is NOT the same side we are now. We've been transformed. Our start to the season & ridiculous luck with injuries has cost us a top half finish, no doubt about it. This season, or at least the second half, has been a MASSIVE step forward. You'd be foolish to think otherwise. I mean, last season we played 'Boro on the final day. We had Steve Howard up front, Olofinjana & Prutton in midfield, Danny flipping Pugh at left back & JJ was our 'biggest threat'. Now look at us. As a side we are 10x better. Well for 10 minutes against Charlton on Monday we looked good enough to take on most of the clubs in the Premiership and give them a spanking. Shame about the next 80. 33
Sorry, gotta be irvine or yorath. The turnaround under gray is nothing short of miraculous. I said Pound for Pound. Demo came with a much bigger reputation and CV. Even he said he was a good manager. Totally different situations. Expected Irvine and Yorath to be at best mediocre. Irvine had a better record in the Championship though and I only fell to sleep three times under him. Managed four with Demo.

theowlsman
If Milan repeats his recruitment strategy of previous seasons, we'll go down next season.
