torres
I know, I know, we have far bigger problems than this, but how come the 4th official got involved in Johnson's sending off? The linesman (who should be sacked for not flagging for it) did'nt do a thing, the ref didn't see it, so when can and when can't they get involved?? @owlstalk
Rob Staton went live on air from the dugout area as soon as JJ did the headbutt and started shouting really live that he was stood right next to the fourth official and that he didnt know if he had seen it or whether he would get involved. The fourth official heard Rob (Rotherham United fan) and immediately sprung into action Staton lost us the cup with his pro millers antics Boooooooooooooooo................. bigdan2003
Typical that the 4th official decided to stick his head above the parapet. JJ deserved it. I thought it was a foul on JJ before his moment of stupidity.....the ref was apalling, for both sides.
NeonLeon
They can get involved if a player assaults another player. It was hardly a cheeky trip or leaving his foot in. Pushing, punching, headbutting etc. the fourth official will alert the ref about. Nothing new.
Guest Deleted member
If JJ is going to do headbutts and get sent off - could he make sure he knocks em unconscious so it at least has a point

RyanSWFC
The Fourth Official is a qualified referee and part of the officiating team. If his colleagues miss something then he can advise them of the correct decision. So if it was him that drew the ref's attention to what JJ did then fair play to him.
