owler5
at least his corners beat the first man
Benjani
We do miss Lines, not only for his corners but his set pieces in general and ability to get the ball down. But if Barkley's loan means he has to start every game and his loan gets extended then Lines' chances are going to be limited.
Owl999
I love Lines floaty corners, make the ball look like its been filled with helium
Ironman
I agree with Oscar Wilde on the subject of corners: "rather a floaty lifter than one whom does not beat the first man" Oscar Wilde was bit of floaty lifter himself wasn't he?
Guest pops55
Does anyone know how many times we scored from his set pieces last season.
rob_owl_92
I thought Lines corners were awful. In my opinion corners need to have a bit of pace on them, when Lines takes one, you've time to roll up a *** before it reaches the penalty area. Since Ben Marshall left, the only two players we have had who are decent on free kicks and corners, are Llera and Keith Treacey. Theres the reason why we miss him
The Dukeries Owl
Shouldn't our training include a line of 8 foot tall posts to practice taking corners and just clearing the tops of the posts by 2 foot or less?

Handball_!!
I would have sent them away on their jollies with this for a bit of poolside reading, then test them on it when they get back. Chris has obviously already read this and can do it properly.
