He failed to cross it once yesterday, the other times he put dangerous balls into the box, one that fell straight to O'Grady on the penalty spot and he completely mistimed it

I don't think he even tried to cross it.

Look at the build up for the second goal - picked up the ball and drew players in, cut inside and sprayed across to Buxton.

Job done.

So it's unanimous, JJ was amazing yesterday.

One question though...

Do none of you find it frustrating that he creates a clear cut chance out of nothing, then fails to pick out the simpe pass that would almost definitely lead to a goal? Credit where it's due, his dribbling can be spell binding, and he's absolutely rapid. But his decision making is terrible and shots are so wild. Why does he always think that having a random lash at it is a better option than any of his teammates every time? He must have a 1% goal to shots ratio. It's such a shame because he could be a real world beater. As it stands he's great to watch, but rarely effective.

jj has positives about his game (no argument there)...

he also has negatives about his game too...

if at any time in his career the negatives had been turned into positives, then he wouldn't be a Sheffield Wednesday player...

when he does his job, and does it well, he's outstanding, and unplayable...

when he falls short, (even though he frustrates us) he gives us hope, as he is one of the few that can turn a game in a flash...

he has the ability to follow a couple of runs where he takes on too many opposition players and loses it, with he beats 3 or 4 defenders and crosses it into the crowd...

but then at any time he can beat 3, or 4 men with a blistering run, and smash it into the top corner with a 20+ yard screamer...
