Reda in DM like Pepe?

He's got the physical strength to play as a DM, but do you think he's got the passing and distribution skills to play there? It's already been said that he doesn't have the best football brain and if he is responsible for starting attacking moves and retaining possession, then we need someone who is able to do that time and time again, rather than a hit and hope or a constant spray of misplaced passes.

He's a good CB, lets work on improving him there rather than make him a poor DM

Cos his tackling is clumsy. In CM he'll be in the heat of the battle and have to go in for more tackles, which runs the risk of mis-timing more tackles, therefore a greater chance of seeing two yellows!

As opposed to centre back, where youre never required to tackle?

As for not being able to pass, JoC has had a career at CM without that ability, so did carlton palmer... Play him with miller and jones and otsemobor and he wouldnt really need to pass.

Carlton Palmer could pass it.

In the early 90's he was our weakest ball player in an outstanding team.

10 years later he joins us again, when he is well past his best and he is our best passer. it summed up perfectly how far we had gone backwards.

In our current team, Palmer would look like Johann Cruyff.

He put Pepe as an anchor to screen against Messi.

I don't think there are players of Messi's individual brilliance in League One, so can't see why we would even need to this?

I don't know, there's been times this season where our back 4 has made the opposition look like Messi.
