  1. NYD 2018 home game v Burton. That is literally one of the worst games of football I've ever witnessed and I watch a lot of non league!
  2. We last beat WBA at home in 2006 and have only played them at home 4 times since, W0 D1 L3 Overall since that win we have played them 9 times, W0 D3 L6 We are well overdue that W1.
  3. Easter weekend 2018, we won 3:1. I was at my caravan. Where will I be the on the day we play Sunderland.........at my caravan again! Could I be the lucky omen?
  4. Current odds at Billy Hill, Huddersfield 1/10 Birmingham 5/6 Us 5/4 Longest odds we've been all season, and the bookies are never wrong!
  5. Yes, my famous memory from being in there was the perfect positioning to see the equaliser against Arsenal in the FA cup 3rd round marathon (Jeff Johnson??)
  6. I used to love being in that corner, I was never brave enough to climb into the West stand though!
  7. Yes, I remember that too. I recall another Liverpool game in the 8os where we were sat in the west upper and they had all the standing below us
  8. All this talk of tickets in the "home end" being available at Blackburn got me thinking about the times I have been on the away end at Hillsborough. I've done it twice, the last game of the 1991 / 92 season against Liverpool - I had been away and missed the opportunity to get a ticket in the home end and it sold out. I rang Liverpool's ticket office and managed to get a ticket for the west stand. I always remember the first question when I gave the lady my address "you aren't a Wednesday fan are you?" There wasn't that many Liverpool fans there so I sat right over to one side and sat on my hands for the whole game which was a very uneventful 0:0 draw so I didn't get too excited. It was the last game of the season and the players did their obligatory lap of honour, so the west stand was practically empty. As they crossed the away end I removed my jacket to reveal the yellow away shirt and had the whole team clapped me as I stood clapping them! Second time was around 2005 against Luton at home, I have relatives in Luton so they came up for a birthday do and we took in the game. I bought 4 tickets and spent the whole game berating the officials and the team in general whilst getting some strange looks and angry comments from the Luton fans. I survived as we lost 1:0
  9. That's an astonishing fact - has this ever happened before?
  10. I guess I'm lucky that 'er indoors loves watching the footy
  11. Spot on fellow dog - you're post was far more intricate than mine. (Still makes for grim reading though!)
  12. Look at the stats for those 3 home games, not sure about Röhl but the front line has certainly let us down. Swansea 14 shots, 4 on target , 1 Goal Norwich 12 shots, 5 on target , 2 Goals Stoke 14 shots, 4 on target, 1 Goal The Stoke result certainly felt like a defeat in the end as if we hung on we were out of the bottom 3. Birmingham should win at Toytown on Saturday, if so then we kick-off against Blackburn 4 points behind them.
  13. Is there something in the Owlstalk rulebook where someone has to post this every week?
