The Sunderland goal - A step by step photographic breakdown

Recommended Posts

All 3 CBs were at fault.

Storey didn’t even attempt to stop the cross

Dean should have dropped a few more yard to cut the near post out.

Palmer should have been on his toes and more aware

Can you show us the one where Hutchinson cost us the playoffs too

Before the rope comes out for palmer

That would be good. If Palmer did in the first match he would have been lynched. Old Hutch soon gets forgiven.

That's the issue with playing 3 centre backs and wing backs and no traditional full backs.

Look at the first still shot and both Sunderland players are in acres of space on both wings, one crosses and the other races in to score.

Maybe instead of crucifying our defence

then admit it was a lovely ball forward ,Jack Clarke delivers a beauty and it gets dispatched superbly by Roberts

Am I wide of the mark?

Palmer’s ball watching for me and NML should be tracking back as well.

Clarke and Roberts are good players and it’s a good goal from their perspective.

I don’t think you are wide of the mark
