Well, while neither is exactly a good situation, I'd rather wait a month or two for my wages if it helped the company employing me stay afloat, rather than waiting up to 7 years for money I was entitled to that my employer had no intention of ever paying until the authorities got involved.

In the court of public opinion, the Judge stated in his summing up of the facts and findings:

 

'Paying millionaires their 20k a week two months late is not even in the same ballpark as paying  Shaun and Vicki less than 8 quid for cleaning the bogs and mashing the tea. If the EFL are truly representing the peoples game then surely there will be punishment on its way for these despicable employers'
