The money is there and without those clubs unearthing gems for the big boys then they suffer too. Pandemic should all stick together tbh. Imagine (idealistically and unrealistic I admit) each prem side puts in 1m each that would go a long way to sustain some of the lower sides

A Macclesfield or Bury going under probably means more fans now and forever for City and United. 
 

Plus, a million each club wouldn’t scratch the surface of the losses as you get further down the pyramid. My local NE Counties team has just decided to fold as they’ve lost their income from the 200 they get each home game.

 

And, who’s to say 21/22 won’t be the same? 
 

Maybe the Prem and Sky will stump up, but I doubt it.
