I was only born in late 73 so must have been the eighties, often ended up collecting them from the pitch at the end of games ha. Them flat square ones were lethal, you wouldn't want to get hit by one of them!

Spawned a generation of potential Olympic discus throwers after a bad home result !!

Whilst listening to Praise or Grumble on the way home a fellow Owl called in with the sad news the Rita Nettleship had passed away. For years she was head of the SWFC Supporters Club and whilst I didn't know her personally she seemed to be a passionate Owl who loved her club doing lots of positive work. I'm surprised there wasn't a thread on here or accept my apologies if there is. I hope the club show their appreciation to her dedication in supporting the club. She would be deserving of a minutes applause. I think the funeral is October 14th at City Road. RIP Rita.

Used to sit behind her and her son who was a program seller sad news

Though shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary thee, nor the years condemn.

And in the morning, and at the going down of the sun (on Saturday, after another Owls win),

We shall remember Rita.

Lovely , lovely lady who looked after us so, so well at away games as kids.

Easy gets my vote as no 1 Owl.
