best77 Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 I live in between Halifax and Hebden Bridge. Road is easy although it is notorious for being dug up. Check AA as not sure if any further up past Hebden. Takes about 35-40 minutes from J24. Elland By-pass which you need to take from J24 down towards turning to Sowerby Bridge has had roadworks. eddie1973 Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 Drove from Hebden Bridge to Burnley yesterday - roadworks just before Burnley (Cliviger I think) but wasnt too big a hold up. Not sure how much worse it would be on a match day? Hit some roadworks near Sowerby bridge on monday afternoon - but I think thats cause I took a wrong turn.
