Aside from his obvious footballing qualities he knows the league inside out and has been promoted with Burnley. He sounds very knowledgable, pragmatic and will be a big influence in the dressing room. I think he could be in with a shout at club captain or no.2. Swiss Toni Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) Loovens is a solid and calm captain. It doesn't hurt to have 2 or 3 more leaders on the pitch though. The likes of Lees, Melo and maybe Wallace will surely help. Last season players like Maghoma and Helan were constantly being instructed what to do and where to stand from the touchline.
