GY-owl.4
injury time should be 'time played' - as in if they give 6 mins the clock should stop everytime the ball goes out. our game vs Uruguay was ridiculous, was it 5 or 6 mins added on and the ball wasnt in play for even HALF that time, tbf uruguay have always been time wasting dirty cheats even going back years, but it happens all the time. if this rule came into play, teams wouldnt even try to timewaste and it would lead to some thrilling finishes IMO. oldishowl
Players faking injury to break the game up and also to waste time is the biggest issue for me. The rule of stopping the game for head injuries was brought in to potentially save lives. Football is the only sport so bankrupt of integrity that the players cynically use this same rule to cheat The managers could stop this at a stroke by stopping players doing it but instead they condone the cheating. Apart from the cheating aspect it is also killing the game as an entertainment.
matt68owls
If a player has to go off the pitch after bring fouled, then the player committing the foul should have to wait on the sideline with him.
Guest wrightson
I'm all for retrospective action but not just banning a player but the team need a punishment too so my idea would be if a player is found guilty of diving or feigning injury then he will be banned for the next game and also the team will have to play the next game with 10 men. That will put pressure on managers to stamp it out too

No this will just make more players feign injury to make an important player for the opposition go off especially if they have a set piece

Guest wrightson
so the team who commit the offence gain an advantage, how fair is that? How fair would it be if someone like zabaleta feigned injury after a john terry tackle in last minute when Chelsea are winning just so terry had to leave the field for the upcoming set piece?
