Owlstalk 6-a-side football tournament - Sunday 27th July

Organised it tramlines weekend?

Total classic

Tramlines is another of these awful fake festivals where people go just to put it on facebook and prove they love music more than you.

Well done, you were crammed in a sweaty area and couldn't really see or hear that band that everyone says they love but weren't around last week and won't be around next week...

And look at your selfies! Didn't you have SO much fun in the mud. Sorry to hear you are now deaf but at least you can say 'I was there'.

God I hate the modern music scene. Everyone loving generic music that we will never be remembered and means nothing.

*been to Glasto, Benecassim and Reading with 15 mates - all were awful*

People kid themselves that the experience is good. In reality you are crushed, sweaty, can't get a good view and most modern acts don't perform well live.

The social aspect is good but why does this need to be done at a festival?!

Name me an act worth seeing at Tramlines!

I think you might be confusing yourself with everybody else.

EDIT - You had a bad time at Glastonbury. All your points are invalid.

I know die hard festival lovers who hate Glasto.

Someone shat in my mates tent, someone robbed my brother and his mates and the mud is awful.

Worse nowadays because it is soulless and too commercial

Tell us who you're into and I'll find someone you like, no bother.

My faves:

Frank Sinatra

Johnny Cash

Jamiroquai

John Wilson Orchestra

Chromeo

Quite like Sam Smith's voice

So basically...

Man who doesn't really like music doesn't really like music festivals and thinks most people only go coz they think it is fashionable

People go to music festivals to enjoy listening to live music......

I've been to glasto 4 times. Never ONCE had any bother at all.

You don't go to a festival for the "View" either.

Getting crushed is half the fun.........

God knows what you would have been like at the Rage Against the machine followed by slipknot gig i saw.......
