shandypants
Wot about if you've had ten pints and a vindaloo there's bound to be a bit of blood after that surely ....and possibly one of your kidneys. But in all seriousness, well done onefurlongout Edited July 18, 2013 by shandypants
onefurlongout
Good luck with your recovery. Just a question, how much blood in the poop should you worry about? Blood can be a number of thing and could be anything from a heavy night to something serious. Mine was like red wine with very little poop and then nothing. Just glad I didn't brush it off as a one off
since59owe
Hi fellow Wednesday fans. A bit off topic but thought I would share. I've just finished 25 sessions of chemo/ radiotherapy and at 35 I'd never thought that I would be diagnosed with bowel cancer. Thankfully following my one and only bleed I went to see the doctor and he referred me. If anyone out there is delaying going to see the doc, or embarrassed don't be. Go see the doctor and hopefully you will have a chance a beating the big C. Glad for you mate, I'm part of a trail, annual check-up, me.
jayzman
Thanks for sharing mate, good luck with the recovery. I'd been passing blood for a while, but went to the GP and he diagnosed haemarrhoids (piles to you!) so I had them treated. Happened again about a year later, same diagnosis, same treatment. Then someone at work got diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer - with the same symptoms as me - said he'd had the symptoms for three years - same as me - and he had been diagnosed with piles - same as me. So I went back to the GP, and insisted on seeing an arse specialist, who scanned me - and found a 'polyp' the size of a golf ball... ...normally, these get one cm large and its a potential problem of the cancer variety. I needed a major op to remove it (it was too big to do the normal way by a 'scope) but fortunately it was pre-cancerous only. Thank flip for that. Anyway, like the OP said - don't ignore it...and if you are not 100% happy, get a second opinion. UTO!
