Chris_B_SWFC
But that was the most bored I've been at Hillsborough in years. Absolute snore fest. If we're going to lose all the time, at least entertain me. Zzzzzz. Edited October 6, 2012 by Chris_B_SWFC
Guest JonTheOwl66
I didn't think it was that bad.

jonnyowl
Never looked like scoring. It was men v boys in the second half!
royalowlisback
You weren't around in the Irvine era then? That was on a par, with supposedly better players. One up front, all game at home to a side that have lost 3 in a row, and conceded 9 in the process - what is that about?

lincolnowl
A game that was always going to be settled bi either a set piece or a mistake. Horribly for us, we can't even deliver a set piece, win a header and one mistake was on our part to let them in too easily to score a goal. Slow, predictable football. To be fair, they missed 2 easier chances before their goal.
sharrowowl
Not the biggest surprise ever that there might be a different approach after conceding 3 goals a game. Went wrong in the second half granted but defensively better just seemed one dimensional in attack. Might not be popular but 2 of our best players for creative attacking passes are Bothroyd and Pecnik - not saying we should play Pecnik but more of a judgement of the rest of our midfield. Barkley - very good player but just doesn't seem to spot even the easy pass sometimes. Just very little creativity going forward other than give it to JJ or whack it 20 yards in front of Antonio.
