Semedo's ferret
Sure most of you that have been involved in the beutifull game will agree. Confidence is the be all & end all. It dunt matter if its Ronaldo, rooney it Rodri. The last 2 games have just about killed this key ingrediant in the entire team. Partly due to some strange selections, partly due to some basic errors BUT mostly because the support have sucked it out of the team. Only when we encourage and lay off the lads will our confidence return.

Guest Darkus Owlus
I encouraged them against Bolton, I was rewarded with stray passes, lazy performances and an inability to get close to Bolton goal.

bluezer
So it's only partly due to some strange selections and basic errors. Are you in politics?
Guest eastridingowl
it' hard to cheer your side on when they are playing poo poo and certain players are showing no passion for the shirt they wear. Take COG, gives 100% and even though he might not be the most skilful player in the world the crowd appreciate his effort and commitment. In over 30 year of watching wednesday I cannot remember a player who gave their all for the shirt that the crowd picked on. - Are you listening Mr Boothroyd??? Beholder
I had no desire to cheer what i was seeing yesterday. On the other hand when i saw a good tackle and a bit of fight i was on my feet yelling like flip and i was on my own doing it. We need the players to inspire us and we will return it tenfold. SiJ
Another it's the fans fault thread. Why people can't realise that we were just rubbish is beyond me.

Beholder
...and that Bolton were good.. dunno about that. they were ok- nowt that special. they passed it pretty well and eagles was a constant threat but if we had anything going forward we coulda beat em easy. Guest wilyfox
I'm sure we'll stop the rot soon enough. If the lads ****** a win, their tails will soon be wagging again. It's peaks and troughs - we started well, fell away, team talk from Brian Blessed and we'll be resurgent once more...
Semedo's ferret
Never said we weren't rubbish. Never said boothroyd, Taylor or any other disserved wild applause. I should also have mentioned that you make your own confidence and luck - most of our lot didn't earn either. But the way they were treated was the nail in the coffin. Hillsbra is a unforgiving place on a bad day.
TheEnchanter
...and that Bolton were good.. Bolton were very very average. We were just poor and sloppy.
SiJ
One players got booed during the course of that match (Bothroyd) and I didn't agree with it...but I wasn't particularly surprised when it happened. Think that there is a lot of frustration with the manager and a felling of bewilderment as to some of the things he is doing in relation to the squad and selection. ...and that Bolton were good.. Nah, not for me. I think they won that game in second gear.
