horny owl
It was for this NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DISASTER http://www.eastmidlandsowls.co.uk/matthew-cryer/ The film crew are Wednesday fans. I would have gladly chucked some money into the buckets for their cause but have never seen them.

horny owl
As other have posted, the people collecting signatures on Penistone Road were definitely in relation to charges against SYP and the disaster. So they turned up at Hillsborough with Justice tshirts on. On the same day that a group of Wednesday fans were collecting and spreading awareness of the death of Mathew in Greece four years ago while wearing their own justice tshirts??? Guest Ripley Owl
Justiceformatthew as nothing to do with the hillsborough disaster its for young wednesdayite who got murdered about 4 years ago in greece the bouncers of the nightclub threw matthew down a flight of steps after giving him some fist. Up to now the greek authorities have not brought any criminal proceeding against the bouncers there is an going campaign to bring the people to responsible to court. Matthews family have been life long generations of owls Is there a website where we can sign the petition?

Guest Woz1867
FAO Horny and Ripley Owl http://www.eastmidlandsowls.co.uk/matthew-cryer/ Have a look at Matthew's page, there are details on how to donate. David Cryer, Tony Cronshaw and the lads are working hard to raise money and make sure that justice is carried out for young Matthew. I will be speaking to David later in the week with a new idea that I have to raise more money. It is going to be a tough challenge but I will be undertaking it hopefully in late Spring of next year. 31Dec1966
There's no need to call people thick or stupid for being confused. I only saw someone on Penistone road asking for signatures DEFINITELY about 1989. He had a T-shirt on which may have had justice on the front, it said something. If I had seen another person with a justice T-shirt on I may well have thought they were the same gang, and ignored them too. It was crowded and I was in a hurry (and none too pleased about the result) so I could have easily mistaken one for the other. There's too much abuse on here recently. wednesdaywizard
My apologies folks. Didn't mean to cause a fuss. Just wrongly presumed and was intrigued as to what they were doing. Hadn't heard about their cause and good on them for it.
Blueblood
I don't know about the t-shirts pal but I do know I was asked to sign a petition in relation to bringing charges against SYP. Were they the ones outside that Sausage Cottage van, that is never open and I'm sure it's just there to try and take the wee wee. They were from that socialist worker paper weren't they? tilIdie
So some Wednesdayites were trying to raise awareness about the injustice surrounding the death of a fellow Owl and all they got was verbal abuse? Great work again guys Well no disrespect to Mathews family BUT maybe they should of been more clearer because to be fair its a daft time to do such a thing with just "justice for" T.Shirt on with all the Liverpool bullsh1it whats happening at the minuite. If I was in there shoes I would of been more clearer what its about otherwise I wouldnt expect anything but verbals with whats been going on recently. Hope they get his killers though. M Royds
This thread leads like the current troubles in the Middle East. A load of people rioting and killing each other for video they have not seen. Classic opening the mouth before the full story.. Anyway, if it was a family member of the 96 then they, like any bereaved should be respected for their tragic loss.

They should have told every support individually. Using Web Space, message boards, social media and the local paper in 21st Centuary is just not good enough.
