Not what we need at this current moment in time.

During Wednesday night’s npower Championship game between the Owls and Huddersfield Town at Hillsborough, the referee and his assistant handed coins to the police which had been thrown by home supporters housed in the North Stand.

The referee, as a matter of course, noted the throwing of coins in his match report to the FA. This in turn means that the FA will investigate this very serious matter and the club could face a charge as a result.

The throwing of coins and other objects is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

The club is currently in the process of reviewing CCTV footage to identify those responsible and condemns such behaviour.

SWFC are working in conjunction with the Police to ensure that the culprits are both identified and made culpable for their actions.

If you know who is responsible for this irresponsible behaviour, please contact the club as soon as possible to enable us to take the appropriate action:

And you wonder why the linesman made a point of the handball for the 2nd penalty.

In the hope somebody would throw a tenner?

I made a joke about it, time to move on, coin throwing is a bit pointless, not arsed about the fans in question but the club shouldnt have to suffer for it.
