jasowl Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 The actually academy are playing 12 pre season games, against a variety of youth sides from clubs based in Northern England. These are all simply warm games played 'behind closed doors'. The 'public' games versus Dinnington, Hallam & Buxton are all being classed as 'development squad' matched, which I think in old money means the reserves (if we had any) + the odd senior player needing a run out.
