nebneeb Posted May 28, 2012 Share Posted May 28, 2012 Whilst watching the awful penalties miss after miss after miss, I thought what it would've been like had it been us there. Instead of the deathly silence, unease, and almost expectancy that they were going to lose when their players had to walk from the halfway line to the penalty spot, every single one of our players would have had their songs sung for them to fill them with confidence and belief. I honestly think we would have got our boys over the line in the same situation. Clearly this ignores the fact we'd have comfortably won in normal time against either of those teams!
