DeeJayOne
...to get your tickets for the Home Away Day. Deadline is midday on Christmas eve and there is NO pay on the day. Sheffield Wednesday will be offering home fans a chance to recreate and enjoy the atmosphere of an away game at home when the Owls take on Yeovil on 28 December. For a special one-off occasion, the club will open the upper West Stand to Owls supporters with 2,500 tickets available in exchange for season ticket seats or, if availability allows, for members and general sale. Supporters are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to experience the excellent views from the upper West Stand and recreate the atmosphere of our magnificent away following. Tickets are now available on general sale and can be bought from www.swfc.co.uk/tickets (note: Season Ticket holders must exchange their tickets to this area in the ticket office). There will be no pay on the day and sales will finish for this area at midday on Christmas eve (Friday 24 December). All season ticket holders who choose to move to this area can do so subject to availability, however, should you move then your current seats will be released for sale to other fans for this game. Yeovil Town supporters will be accommodated in the lower West Stand after the club's safety advisory group agreed that there is sufficient sterile segregation to ensure the safety of all supporters both home and away. Please note that there is no alcohol and reduced catering facilities on the West Stand. However, the Sheridan Suite will be open as a fans bar from 12pm until kick off for those with Upper West tickets. Come on guys - get your tickets for this unique occasion. This is a one-off opportunity to experience the upper West Stand and recreate the atmosphere of an away game - let's get the West Stand bouncing! This won't be repeated this season or for some time, I'd imagine. DeeJayOne
I know what you're saying - and I hoped there would be more so far - however, historically Wednesday fans don't tend to buy tickets for home games until close to the day (hence why I am remindning people they have until Christmas eve). DeeJayOne
important question are we selling beer on the west stand Unfortunately, alcohol isn't available on the West Stand, however we are opening the Sheridan Suite pre-match for home fans who have a ticket into the West Stand, so you can go in there from 12midday to get your drinks before the game and build up for the match atmosphere. owls-swfc
Does anyone know what Yeovils usual away following is? I think it varies slightly - but if you ask the Mini-bus driver, he should be able to give you a guesstimate !
