Bluesteel
Tudgay and Varney are fairies and Esajas isnt?
PeteG_1984
do you hate all our spinless players with an equal passion, or just esajas?....................... before reading this thread all of the spineless players who played today. But seeing a thread with someone trying to praise him reminded me of one of the worst performances I've ever seen from a player who I've seen play well in the same season. So yo answer your question, all equally.
Guest Darkus Owlus
This season he's been on the bench a lot yes. He had plenty of chances last season though, and btw this criticism is coming from someone who actually admires Esajas as a player- he just doesn't suit where we are and what we need at the minute.... his play is far more suited to european football IMO. Edit: I hasten to add that the 'bag of poo ' comment was about his attitude, not his ability. I understand but you have to sympathise a little, he was brought to the club and just wasn't given the games. His head is probably all over the place and I suspect he knew he was on his way a long time ago. We seem to have left his future in limbo, he's out of the team for ages then he's back again in some sort of desperate shakeup/panic rotation. It doesn't appear we sorted his future out... I think he could be useful in League 1 next season, that's if he wants to play for us and we go down, which is looking likely.

But i think it would be hard to get him motivated for cold, wet, tuesday nights away at clubs like (no disrespect meant here) Oldham, Hartlepool, Yeovil etc. I reckon he'll end up back in Holland regardless of what happens to us this season... he won't have to worry about the defensive side of his game and his positional play there so much, which IMO has been why he's failed here- he'll be able to do what he's good at and float around in the final 3rd trying to get shots away, whereas in the english game you can't afford to have a player drifing about in the midfield... 'mavericks' don't tend to succeed in our national game like they do abroad. Good luck to him if he leaves- as we both agree, he's a talented boy and with the right coaching could be a really good player.

isastokes
Get the skillful flair players on the pitch. Get rid of Varney & Tudguy as soon as possible. They aren't strikers, they're rumblein fairies. The only players I've seen this season who are worth even keeping are Grant, Purse, Hinds, OConnor, Esajas, Gray, Clark and JJ Get rid of all the rest in summer. Anyone will do who can run, tackle and doesn't poo themselves when they get the ball!! Yeah, that's right.... we need some real hardmen in the team like.... erm.... Esajas
Innes
I think he should have been brought on yesterday. Instead, he brings on Leon Clarke
RichSheffWeds
When he went down like he'd been shot against Ipswich did it for me. No fight, no desire. Embarassing to watch his theatrics. Hardly a player to win a midfield battle for you. Ship him back to Holland asap.
igm1
whooooa, here comes the shitstorm of esajas haters now.................... I'm here. Just going to say he's flipping poo poo and he has less fight in him than the rest of them. Just because he's scored 2 or 3 wonder goals does not make him a good player. He's not, nor is he ever going to be our saviour.
