Not looked at the article but any one teams dominance over a League ruins it full stop.

 

We had Liverpool in the 70s and early 80s and Man Utd in the 90s however there were seasons when the Title could quite easily have gone elsewhere, these days it’s becoming far far easier for fewer teams to dominate Leagues.

I have always thought the attitude around Dortmund is odd. They behave like a small feeder club with 2nd being the limit of their ambition. It’s odd as they are a huge club, massive stadium, ridiculous fanbase and that could be said for Hamburg, Bremen, Hertha, Koln etc. 

 

I work with lots of Germans and all the non-Bayern fans seem to be happy to be best of the rest. They also have far more animosity towards Leipzig than they do Bayern.
