I've seen it too. And the person that is happened to also behaved in a way that to anyone on the outside would have appeared to be 'not normal'

I thankfully haven't experienced what you have but this would be my thought exactly, I've read of rape victims in the past that can't face anything at all to do with the attack let alone the perpetrator.

The one person coming out of this trial not very well at all is Mr Matturie who appears to have been tasked with picking up girls for Mendy and taking advantage himself.

There is no "right way" to behave after a sexual assault or rape.

 

everyone will deal with this in there own way.  Likewise, having a perception of what's "right" often clouds judgement in these types of cases.

As I say, I have seen someone close go through it, and they did behave in a way that you'd have probably described as odd.
