It got a lot of stick at the time, coming straight off the back of 12.. In hindsight, I wonder if some of the negativity towards it has dwindled now that it's clear the stripes weren't being ditched?

It's pretty close for me, too - certainly top three.

 

I love the retro look and harking back to an earlier era that it encapsulated.

Honourable mention to 2 though, proper good shirt with good stripes. I’m probably in the minority who liked the Chupa Chups sponsor as well (the logo was designed by Salvador Dali)… although, Chupa Chups is based on the Spanish verb chupar (“to suck”) which sums up the teams who played in that shirt pretty accurately

Plenty of bad designs here... Opted for 16 as I really really dislike the distressed blue (15 was second worst for the same reasons) don't like 4, 9, 12 and 13 either for various reasons (12 and 13 are actually OK designs, just not for Wednesday)
