Best/Worst Home shirt since 2000 - Poll

7, 1 and 13 are my faves.

 

12 is the worse. By miles.

7 (best) and 12 (worst) for me. No. 7 is the right colour blue, central blue stripe and right badge.

 

12 is just an abomination. DC tampering with (more recent) history, and the start of his alienation of fans.

The pinstripe monstrosity of 16/17 is easily the worst, followed by the Ipswich shirt that followed.

4 was shocking the material was horrible and design / fit terrible. Still better than 12 though.

I actually like number 15. Number 4 is a horror. 
 

The hatred for number 12 is understandable. It’s actually a nice article of clothing up close. Some nice detailing on it and nicely made. But it isn’t a Sheffield Wednesday shirt.

9 is the worst. 12’s been absolutely rinsed in the poll but I liked it, makes me think of Kieran Lee and plenty of wins.

9 was a horrible template shirt. I seem to remember Huddersfield and Coventry having the exact same design. Huddersfield was a faded version of ours and Coventry looked like the blue had run into the white after a wash. I get we’re not exactly that important to global sportswear companies but to have clubs in the same division with blue and with the same design made it so much worse.

The Chupa Chups logo was made out of some weird velvet material that attracted anything and everything to it. I remember having to constantly clean it off with wipes or something similar.

6 for me, just in front of 7 as I prefer the black trim and not the white collar.

 

12 & 13 are just not traditional modern era Wednesday - no stripes = no Wednesday

The Wandisco shirt is the worst one we've had home or away in the 30+ years of watching Wednesday. Absolutely detest that shirt.

 

Number four was a horrible baggy thing but reminds me of Chris Brunt screamers so it's not the worst.

 

Best one is 15. Really great shirt, stripes are not too thick and not too thin, nice detail on the shirt and black trim to set it off. 

 

Soft spot for 12 but it had blue shorts and just looked too blue.

 

Never understood the hate for the kit the year after Ipswich (also a nice shirt but not a Wednesday shirt). Really nice kit even if it was solid blue, the hate towards it probably stems from the fans assuming stripes were being removed forever and the backlash that followed.

Worst, 4, 12 and 13. 4 is nearly worse than the Pleat Era 1997 kit with irregular stripes (vomits in own mouth)

 

Best is 11 imo. Though I like 2 and 8 also. Last few years have been ok but the quality felt cheap to me.

Same with The Sanderson logo on the 1998 kit. Covered in microfluff. Also the whole kit is made out of asbestos (shame as it looks lovely)
