A funny coincidence in our history are the seasons that end in zero. Other than on two occasions plus in 1940 when the leagues were suspended we have got either promoted or relegated.

1889/90 won the Alliance league

1899/00 promoted

1909/10 neither

1919/20 relegated

1929/30 champions

1939/40.n/a

1949/50 promoted

1959/60 neither

1969/70 relegated

1979/80 promoted

1989/90 relegated

1999/00 relegated

2009/10 relegated

2019/20???????!

Let's nope this is one of the odd occasions that neither happens

That all very good but this season ends in 2021

How did the years ending in 1 do for us? 😀

1900/01 = 8th (Division 1)

1910/11 = 6th (Division 1)

1920/21 = 10th (Division 2)

1930/31 = 3rd (Division 1)

1950/51 = 21st (Division 1 - relegated)

1960/61 = 2nd (Division 1)

1970/71 = 15th (Division 2)

1980/81 = 10th (Division 2)

1990/91 = 3rd (Division 2 - promoted, plus something about winning a washing machine)

2000/01 = 17th (Division 2)

2010/11 = 15th (Division 3)

Good luck finding a pattern within that lot. Something about Spurs winning the FA Cup, except for all the times they don't.

Thank you for posting, surely we will improve as 2020 couldn’t have been much worse.. right?
