What about Winall? should be given a try as well IMO

Personally I don’t see much in Winnall. I certainly don’t see him as a lone-striker.

If we keep him I’m sure he will have the chance at some point.

Fletcher doesn't miss many games though, so how is Rhodes going to get much of a chance barring injury?

That is unless we're not playing 4-3-3 all the time. It's never worked at home in the past, so think at home we'll be playing 4-4-2. Only thing is we are very one paced up front, but hopefully the wingers make up for it.

Fletcher played 2500 minutes in the league last season, out of a possible 4100.

He also played 400 minutes in the cups, out of a possible 450.

That was easily his fittest season with us. He looked faster, sharper and more agile from the off. On Saturday again he looked very athletic and positively pacy running with the ball. It’s a credit to him that he seems to be working even harder.

Even if he has a similar season Rhodes will get plenty of game time. Especially if we sometimes go 442ish.

Last season if I saw Fletch limping or coming off I thought “Oh no”. It would be great to think that Rhodes or Nuhiu have the sort of season where any one of them is a danger and substitutions are positive rather than a problem.
